Built on Principle and Experience.
After more than 20 years of experience working in large, national
actuarial firms, Charles E. Dean, FSA, wanted to create a firm that
encompasses the highest standards of actuarial practice without
compromise or conflicts of interest. In Dallas, Texas in 1994 he
founded Dean Actuaries on four fundamental principles: uncompromised
service, impeccable standards, distinct expertise, and clear
communication. The firm has been successfully providing actuarial
and related services solely for retirement plans in the area of both
public and private, tax-qualified and non-qualified for over 15
years.
Our Distinct Advantage
As standard procedure, and without the big firm rates, we assign a
qualified actuary to lead and perform work on all projects and
assignments, greatly reducing the risk of costly errors.
Additionally, all of our work is on a fee for service basis; we
accept no commissions and sell no products ensuring our clients that
our interests are focused purely on the actuarial aspect of their
business.
Continuing Education
We believe continuing professional education is essential to the
quality of our service to our clients. Our staff actuaries, Mr. Dean
and Mr. Sullivan, are frequent participants at Society of Actuaries
meetings and other professional conferences.
Our Actuary, Peer Reviewed Approach.
Our approach to staffing is different from most actuarial firms and
better for our clients. At Dean Actuaries all actuarial work is
performed and checked - not just supervised - by actuaries. We use
actuarial technicians only for data entry; actuarial work is always
done by qualified actuaries.
